92029 Returns To The Mainline - 07th June 2023
We see the "Dyson" heading south along the west coast main line and through Springs Branch south of Wigan on the afternoon of Wednesday 7th June 2023, We catch this on her return leg of a test run seen heading back from Carlisle to Crewe a touch late due to late Avanti services,
A fresh coat of paint is scheduled to be applied over the next few weeks followed by a return to service afterwards.
I haven't seen many class 92s, so I hope to see more in the future especially as they're one of my favourite loco classes

A Class 92 electric locomotive, numbered 92029 "Dante," made a mainline return after being in storage for several years. It was accompanied by a Class 90 locomotive, 90035, during its journey. It was part of a test run returning from Carlisle to Crewe, slightly delayed due to late Avanti services. The locomotive is scheduled for repainting and a return to service in the coming weeks.
