57002 With The Chairman's Train - 20th April 2025

Locomotive Services Limited Class 57, 57002, looking resplendent in LNWR black livery is seen speeding north along the west coast main line and through Springs Branch on the morning of Sunday 20th April 2025.

The class 57 locomotive was working the chairman's train on about private railtour "The Chairman's Train" from the beautiful Welsh seaside town of Llandudno to Oxenholme in Cumbria. 45118 had shunted the train from Crewe to Llandudno. Hopefully get to see her lead a train eventually.

57002 was named "Winston Churchill" at London Paddington before setting off with this train to Kingswear a few days earlier. First time I've captured this locomotive working for LSL and for a black livery this is absolutely superb.
