Trains at Bamfurlong - 16th August 2022

Description
Another short selection of trains seen heading along the west coast main line at my usual spot at Bamfurlong south of Wigan on the afternoon of Tuesday 16th August 2022.

First up we have the regular Freightliner stone train that honestly I'd forgot about and as shown by the shot I was just arriving. Next up on the afternoon containers we have 88010 has its turn with a new livery promoting the transport of refrigerated goods by rail. Its half-blue, half-frozen, and sports the slogan “Refrigerated Rail… COOL Move”. It looks quite good in my opinion.

The late running Kelbits stone was next formed of the great sounding 60056 powering along the slow lines with her destination now only moments away. The last train was a total bonus another Trans Pennine MK5 set with 68022 trailing and thrashing past on another mileage run from Carlisle to Walton near Warrington. The train was supposed to go to Edinburgh but was cut short for what ever reason.

The official workings today
1. 66616 - 6H51 Hardendale to Tunstead
2. 88010 - 4S44 Daventry to Mossend
3. 60056 - 6F64 Tuebrook Sidings to Ashton In Makerfield
4. 68022 - 5Q35 Carlisle to Walton MSC Sidings
