The Dalesman Railtour - 17th September 2024
The WCR locos were hauling another "Dalesman" charter service between Chester and Carlisle. Northbound reversing at Preston to head up the Settle & Carlisle line and returns down the wcml.
We get the northbound clip from Springs Branch with her racing along past a stationary freight train. The evening shot from Bamfurlong of the southbound return from the road bridge.
Then finally for the audio I wanted to hear a 33 on song so I ventured to the Leeds Liverpool canal which overhead is Bamfurlong junction. Am I crazy stood in total darkness probably.
