An exciting trio of trains seen speeding along the west coast main line through Springs Branch south of Wigan on the afternoon of Monday 22nd September 2025.

We get a nice variety of classes 37,55 and 66 working three separate types of trains. GBRf 66787 is up first with the usual Hams Hall to Mossend container train.

37419 with 975025 Caroline, originally the Southern Region General Manager's Saloon second up with a Derby to Carlisle test train. Finally Locomotive Services Limited Class 55 Deltic on a light engine run from Heaton to Crewe.
