A West Coast Railways train consisting of Class 57 locomotive 57012 and two Class 33 locomotives, 33207 and 33025, was captured moving north along the West Coast Main Line and through Springs Branch near Wigan on a cold and windy afternoon. The movement included 17 Mark 2 coaches and was part of a stock drag from Southall Railway Centre to Carnforth. The train was running four minutes late but likely made up time during the journey.
