47501 & 47828 with The William Shakespeare - 03rd August 2022
The class 47s were operating the opening leg of The William Shakespeare (Saphos Trains) tour from Carnforth to Stratford Upon Avon. 46100 Royal Scot would take on the train from Crewe. The train looked and sounded great in the morning sunshine running 1 late after a pickup at Wigan station.
