Busy LSL Day on the WCML - 17th June 2026

Another locomotive extravaganza on the west coast main line seen at Springs Branch and then Bamfurlong south of Wigan on Wednesday 17th June 2026.

Steam, Diesel and electric traction all in fine running order here with classes 20,45,89,90 and steam engine BR Standard Class 7 70000 Britannia out on a test run. The opening shot was a nightmare having to quickly get my phone out my pocket with my camera having a meltdown. The other clips are all in better quality.
