60076 Passes 47805 & 47853 at Bamfurlong - 08th June 2022
Ex Colas 60076 we see first from over my shoulder with the second and final empty aggregates train from Ashton to Tuebrook seen accelerating away having got given the signal to proceed. This train was around 30 early here which was a nice stroke of luck.
The second train or the main event we see 47805 aka D1935 with 47853 aka 47614 are seen speeding south with the return leg of “Statesmen Rail Settle & Carlisle Circular” tour returning from Appleby in Cumbria to Stratford Upon Avon having retuned via the west coast main line having gone north via the S&C earlier in the day.
