40013 Drags 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley Picking Up Speed at Springs Branch - 17th July 2025
Class 40013, named "Andania" is seen at the helm of the drag with LNER A4 Steam Locomotive No 60007 running from Carlisle back home to Crewe. Nigel Gresley having been used on a railtour the previous day to this film.
The drag was right behind a Blackpool to Liverpool express which had to wait for the Gbrf Mossend container meaning slowing everything down.
This does mean we get a truly wonderful shot of the train accelerating and sounding tremendous.

Class 40013 "Andania" leads the drag with LNER A4 No 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley, which had previously operated on a railtour. The train is captured accelerating and producing a powerful sound, following a delay caused by a GBRF Mossend container. The footage includes the locomotives passing Ince, Carlisle, and Crewe, with headcode 5Z08 associated with the movement.
