Freight Trains at Warrington Bank Quay - 30th September 2025

A good few hours of freight train action and a slightly ruined shot of a West Coast Railways 37 movement seen heading along the west coast main line at Warrington Bank Quay on Tuesday 30th September 2025.

We get a strong variety of classes 37,66,88 in a nice variety of liveried hauling many different types of freight including Tesco container trains, cement, biomass, household waste and a railtour stock move.

A longer video enjoying the power of 66s both stopping for driver changes. I really should visit here more often only living up the line in Wigan.

My previous visit to Warrington was in 2018 which was a tremendous day with a Trans Pennine Mark 5 set on test and test train too
