Northern Class 195s at Wigan - 10th February 2026
For the majority of the day the trains run via Bolton with 2 booked to head north via me at Wigan and at least 1 evening southbound service. They make for at least something different from the usual services.
I still don't like how Wigan doesn't have either of the Trans Pennine or these Northern services run regularly. Wigan is a big enough town that should still maintain a direct link to Manchester airport. That doesn't look like it will return anytime soon.
