British Railways green liveried 47815 and West Coast Railways liveried 57316 speed south along the west coast main line and through Bamfurlong on the afternoon of Tuesday 22nd March 2022 with an on time stock move from their northern base at Carnforth to their southern base at Southall Railway Centre. Sadly, we get well and truly stuffed by Direct Rail Services electric 88005 heading north on the afternoon modal service. The 88 was around 4 late, having made up time behind a late Avanti service.

I was over this side of the line as I was en route home from doing other things and timings meant I couldn't gamble and make it across to the other side. I certainly misjudged the 88 picking up time between Warrington and Bamfurlong, but I suppose it's a different shot
