Description
In today's video we have GBRF's "66746" sporting "Belmond Royal Scotsman" livery leads with a short rake of flat wagons with a small amount of containers working a Ministry of Defence train from Longtown base near Carlisle to Southampton Western Docks.

We see the train heading south along the west coast main line and through Bamfurlong south of Wigan at Lunchtime on Thursday 17th February 2022 running almost 1 hour early and was sent via the slow lines as booked which is still odd as the train had nothing due behind to get out the way off and she carried on to stop as booked to time at Warrington.

The Belmond Royal Scotsman is a Scottish overnight luxury train, started in 1985 by GS&WR, and run since 2005 by Belmond Ltd. Its itineraries include 2, 3, 4, 5 or 7 night journeys around the Scottish Highlands, visiting castles, distilleries and historic sites. So the locos sporting this livery are a rare site if not on a tour.

I hope you enjoy today's video, and please consider subscribing, as all support helps me out. My hand may appear on camera as I was protecting the screen with the strong wind and on/off rain with the back end of storm "Dudley" with another on the way soon. One day I'll get lucky and see tanks on these.
