Description
West Coast Railways Class 37 locomotive 37676 "Loch Rannoch" is seen dragging LMS Jubilee Class 45699 Galatea but still dressed as 45627 Sierra Leone north along the west coast main line and through Springs Branch south of Wigan on the afternoon of Tuesday 22nd April 2025.

The locomotive pairing and support coach MK1 80204 were on a light engine move from the Severn Valley Railway at Kidderminster back north to Carnforth having gone down there for a gala event the previous weekend.

The train was running around 11 early upto the signal to await the booked Liverpool to Blackpool train to go ahead. Meaning we get some brilliant audio of the 37 working hard with the steamer. We then move up to the road bridge to see her pull away from the signal and onwards north to Wigan.

I captured this train going south to the event last week which can be viewed below.
