86401 at Bamfurlong - 26th May 2024
The classic class 86 locomotive was working a light engine move from Crewe to Carnforth having been working with 86259 the previous day on a FA Cup final special train from Manchester Piccadilly to London Euston via Stoke and back. 86259 took the stock in part back to Burton.
The loco was running 22 early here and fortunately for me passed around 30 seconds after a Trans Pennine 397 which was 2 late went south
