Description
Avanti West Coast Pride Train (390119) named as "Progress" is UK’s first fully wrapped Pride train. 11-car Pendalino No 390119 has received a new livery including the colours of the most recent iteration of the Pride flag, which adds the colours black, brown, light blue, pink and white to bring people of colour, transgender people and those living with or who have been lost to HIV/AIDS to the forefront.

The name of Avanti West Coast's Pride Train is Progress. The train was named after the winning entry in a competition that received over 1,500 entries. The winning entry was submitted by Edward Hitchon Godfrey, and was about how Trainbows and Pride Trains helped him come out and live proud.

The train is 265 meters long and has 11 carriages. It's wrapped in the colors of the Progressive Pride flag, which includes black, brown, light blue, pink, and white. The train is a symbol of Avanti West Coast's commitment to diversity and inclusion.
The train's launch in August 2020 was accompanied by the launch of a campaign called "The Progress Train". The campaign aims to promote greater inclusivity, diversity, and equality in Britain's rail industry

We see the train on a slightly late running London to Glasgow diagram in fine form as ever about to begin to slow down ready for bed next calling point of Wigan North Western.
