47848 & 47746: Powerful Class 47s Roar Through Bamfurlong! - 21st April 2025
The class 47s double headed were working Day 4 of "The Easter Highlander" Railtour back home from Craigendoran to Cardiff via Birmingham New Street.
Having been 37 hauled in Scotland the 47s were bolted on at Preston and depute running 1 late absolutely fly making a phenomenal sound on a very quiet pleasant evening. Nice to see the railway 200 headboard on it too.
