Varamis Rail 321428 Passes Springs Branch - 15th May 2025
The class 321 was working her usual 1M04 Mossend Down Yard near Glasgow to Birmingham International airport service which runs back northbound overnight. Happier times it would seem as I really enjoyed filming this train over the summer months.
There has been speculation of the demise of the company for all kinds of reasons. My question to viewers do you know what's going on. Reasons I've seen vary immensely. I won't share those for I think obvious reasons. They I think have a fleet of 9 units and one failed recently.
The telegraph did an article this year on them
The Office of Rail and Road said it had no record of a rumoured prohibition notice against Varamis. Such notices are issued against companies that break stringent rail safety rules.
