Class 37 Power! 37884 on 769 Drag (769448) at Bamfurlong - 21st April 2026
The class 37 locomotive was working another drag move hauling Northern Trains Class 769 flex unit 769448 from the Kilmarnock Barclay depot back to Liverpool's Allerton Depot. Seen running almost 2 hours early thanks to pathing.
Plenty disruption at time of filming due to apparent objects on OHLE between Wigan and Preston throwing passenger trains into chaos.
Not the fastest of shots with the train soon to be diverging off the WCML to yo take the route via Newton Le Willows. Some absolutely glorious tones from the driver though which was fun.

The train ran ahead of schedule and was en route to diverge from the main line via Newton Le Willows. Some disruption was reported due to objects on overhead lines between Wigan and Preston at the time of filming.
