Description
An evening trip out to Chesterfield and Derby with a look at the solar eclipse as well. My day started at Chesterfield looking at the usual movements. There wasn't anything majorly special but it was nice to 810003 on test and a another look at 170206 still in the Greater Anglia livery. I then took a ride onboard a refurbed cross country voyager from Chesterfield to Derby which I must say was quite a good experience despite the air conditioning not being the best. Derby is where the real action started with first 810003 and 810004 coupling together before the Solar Eclipse. During the Solar Eclipse, the Midland Pullman rocked up and a heavy class 70 came flying through. This will definitely be a day to remember!
