Black Five 44871 at Wigan - 08th December 2022
The steam locomotive was heading back to Carnforth with a single support coach in tow from Southall. She was only 1 late here having been stuck behind some trains which even led 37421 light engine to pass platform 6 as a 195 had just cleaned for that.
I had planned on using platform 4 but I couldn't be bothered switching back again. Typical annoying Avanti. I was actually expecting 34046 Tangmere my own gen was wrong. I love the Black fives there wonderful. my favourite steam would be the A4s.
