In today's video we have -LMS 'Jubilee' Class - 45627 "Sierra Leone'' known as (45699 "Galatea") heads south along the west coast main line at Bamfurlong on a very dull morning of Sunday 24th October 2021 with West Coast Railways class 47, “47746” tagging on the rear. The pair were working the first leg of “The Peaks Express” from Preston to Derby via Mancherster and the Hope Valley. The train was picking up a little speed having picked up at Wigan but can't go too fast as she heads west towards Manchester at Golborne/Parkside junction.

The locomotive is suffering something of an identity crisis of late. Beneath the "Sierra Leone" nameplates, the 'Jubilee' is actually 45699 "Galatea". However she has also been known as the number 45562 of "Alberta". A nice Sunday morning treat none the less. I have linked shots of the train on her other indenties below.
