The Christmas Cheshireman 16/11/2019
In today’s video we have another steam train this time at Chester railway staion the gateway to north Wales. Todays black 5s were running in place of 60009 Union of South Africa which I heard had a crack in the boiler. We see the double steam engines arrive into Chester just after 1pm ruinning slightly late then shunting around various times before heading out via Crewe on its return journey also slighlty late. This is a very rare trip to Chester for me and one was definitley worthwhile as I also saw a pair of Colas 56s there too, Stick around for that video dropping soon.
