43231 & 43285 at Wigan North Western - 15th January 2024
The former Cross Country power cars have acquired by Colas Rail to operate Network Rail test trains which. The rather unusual sight was heading from Preston to Derby having run down from Scotland the previous night I think. Running 11 ish early typically she was due to clash with a 9 car 390 so I didn’t gamble. A nice fast shot here. Was also nice bumping into a few regulars including Alan for a nice chat.
