66313 & 99001 at Bamfurlong - 25th June 2025
The class 66 was returning southbound with the brand spanking new Stadler British Rail Class 99001 from Carlisle back to Crewe and most likely back to Leicester having ran north the previous day.
The class 99  is a class of dual-mode electro-diesel Co-Co locomotives that will haul freight trains on both electrified and non-electrified lines. It is based on the Stadler Euro Dual platform. Built at Stadler Rail in Valencia Spain.
A lovely rake of five Eastern Rail Services MK2 coaches in tow to add some weight.
