57307 Rescues 390129 at Bamfurlong - 26th March 2023
The class 390 I believe failed on 1M11 and after a few hours of trying to fix the issue DRS dispatched the class 57 thunderbird to drag her from Carlisle station south to Longsight Depot which is situated just south of Manchester Piccadilly staion.
She was running 7 late here and wasnt running to fast as she was just moments away from exciting the main line here and then would be heading east down the Chat Moss line and through Manchester.
Certainly goes down as a rare shot so was delighted to catch it on hours after filming 2 steam engines.
