Avanti West Coast 807010 at Bamfurlong - 03rd July 2025
The 807 was on final delivery run operated I believe by GBRF running from York to Wembley yard near London via Edinburgh, Carstairs, Carlisle and the west coast main line making it a mammoth journey. 807010 is the final Class 807 to be handed over to Avanti.
This livery takes my brain straight to Elmer the Patchwork Elephant book series and character. Way too colourful and jazzy for my taste.

Avanti West Coast has unveiled a train wrapped in a bespoke artwork designed to celebrate the ethnicity of employees and communities across its network.
The “Together We Roll” wrap - a brightly coloured tapestry - was produced following an idea from Avanti frontline employees to celebrate and represent people who live and work on the West Coast Main Line with a unique train.
