66782 at Bamfurlong - 19th May 2022
The class 66 was hauling a diverted container train from East Midlands Gateway to Seaforth docks in Liverpool. This train would normally be routed from Winick junction down the Chatt Moss route through Whiston one of my old lines but due to a Northern class 323 breaking down at Earlestown blocking the path she was sent here instead. I was walking down for something else, so this was a nice bonus.
The official working today 4F62 East Mids Gateway Tml Gbrf to Seaforth C.T. (Gbrf)
