47828 at Bamfurlong - 24th November 2022
The class 47 was working a light engine move from Preston to Crewe here during a heavy rain shower making the shot less than ideal.
47828 had failed/had issues the previous day. Yesterday she was paired with 47593 on Statesman rail "Edinburgh Christmas Statesman" which ran from Stafford to Edinburgh via Manchester and Bolton.
Nice to catch 47828 again even in horrible weather. Nice friendly soft tones from the driver as she ran 7 early here
