Looking absolutely fabulous in it's pink and white livery we see her heading north along the west coast main line and through Springs Branch on the afternoon of Thursday 10th October 2024.
The class 66 locomotive was hailing a rake of GBRF wagons from Guide Bridge in east Manchester north to Shap Summit Quarry in Cumbria.
Routed via Stockport across the Mid Cheshire line then onto the wcml at Hartford Junction. Running bang on-time here having made up lost time.
