Geography wise this road Jacks Lane is in Westhoughton area of Bolton but by only a few hundred yards or so. It's a tall bridge even with my small step to use.
The train was working the usual Wilton to Knowsley empty household waste train which will take another load back across to Teeside overnight via the lodger route down the WCML and across via Cheshire.

The footage was captured near Jacks Lane in Westhoughton, Bolton. The train was operating a regular service from Wilton Efw Terminal to Knowsley Freight Terminal, carrying empty household waste. The journey is part of a routine operation that will later transport waste back to Teeside overnight via the lodger route.
