Description
Worse for wear ex East Midlands Railway Class 43 locomotives 43423 leading 43467 and seen with barrier coaches and Rail Adventure Group liveried 43465 & 43484 are seen twice heading along the west coast main line and through Bamfurlong on 2 days in May 2025.

The class 43s running with a pair of barrier coaches.
The vehicles are owned by Meridian Generic Rail and they have four, which are ex-Motorail vans originally converted for FGW.

The 43 quartet were running from Long Marston near Birmingham to Eastriggs ex Ministry of Defence site north of Carlisle and back to collect another class 769 unit this one being 769959.

Running late both times along the fast and slow lines we get such a colourful shot at Bamfurlong which is now needs Network Rail to cut the trees and bushes back.

The class 769 had been in Scotland testing on Ayrshire Coast line predominantly between Kilmarnock and Glasgow.
