34067 Tangmere Hauls The Great Britain XVI Day 7 - 19th April 2024
The steam locomotive was working another leg of The Great Britain XVI Day 7 from Edinburgh to Liverpool via Carlisle. Stanier Class Black Fives 44871 and 45407 would work the the train from Edinburgh to Carlisle with a locomotive switch for Tangmere taking place there. The tour goes from Liverpool to Swansea via Crewe and Shrewsbury tomorrow.
Rare to get steam engines heading from Wigan to Liverpool especially a Southern Region loco.
