93009 On Test at Bamfurlong - 19th July 2026
The class 93 was working the Tesco container train from Daventry to Coatbridge. running very late here almost an hour behind due to leaving the DRIFT Daventry Rail International Freight Terminal late.
These locomotives are immensely quiet and powerful making easy work of this load.
Direct Rail Services now joining DB Cargo in testing these modern powerful locos on container trains. 93006 did a test with a 66 for DB Cargo back on February 2026 I caught it at Bryn
