47805 & 47593 at Ince Moss Junction - 22nd May 2021
Rodger Hoskings MA 1925 - 2013 leading BR blue large logo 47593 "Galloway Princess through the Ince Moss Junction area just outside Wigan. Located around 1 minuite west of the west coast main line at Springs Branch Junction. This spot provides a long wide angle of any trains providing you have something to lean or stand on by the fence. First up we see the northbound shot crusing along with my balence leting me down after I pan around. The train would do a pickup at Wigan shortly after passing me and with the curve and jucntion a nice slow pass each way was in order.
In the 2nd and final shot we see the train slowly accelrating away from Wigan running around 25 late in much nicer and warmer conditions.
