In todays video we have an above the line shot of the Knowsley bound bin liner train heading for Knowsley from Wilton on other side of the country. We see red 66105 in charge crossing the site of Crow Nest Junction which takes the 2 lines left to Bolton and Salford while we see her on the right with 2 the lines from Atherton being used here. The train was running almost 10 early here and judging the speed of signal diagrams was abit tricky. I hope you enjoy this shot.

This spot used to have a signal box back in the glory days of the railways which my grandad worked in amongst others in this region.
