A busy hour or so at Wigan North Western on the night of Saturday 8th April 2023 as several engineers’ trains are seen heading north and to their respective job locations. All standard Freightliner green 66s here none of their various liveries on show unfortunately.

Major disruption for passengers today as from around 1500 to ongoing when I left at 2030 ish no Avanti Trains had ran north. Not certain on the cause but it looked to be something just south of Crewe.
