The loco combination were working a Network Rail charter for UK Train Planners, operated by DB Cargo UK, 90039 'The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport' leading 67005 'Queens Messenger' from London to Carlisle with the class 90 taking the train to Preston. 67005 would take the train north via the Settle & Carlisle line. The 90 would head next to Carlisle to take the train back home later in the day.
