Northern Trains Class 333: Number 333011 Powering Across Leeds Station Busy Junction Tracks

Northern Trains Class 333 4-car Electric Multiple Unit (EMU) number 333011 was constructed between 2000 and 2001 by Siemens Transportation Systems and CAF. Specifically introduced to replace aging slam-door stock on the heavily utilized West Yorkshire electrified triangle, these high-performance units draw 25kV AC power from overhead lines. Each 4-car set features smooth, rapid acceleration profile characteristics, geared for a maximum operational top speed of 100 mph. They are highly regarded for their spacious layout and reliability on commuter paths, and this unit is beautifully turned out in the active corporate Northern Trains white, blue, and orange livery.
