Two Trains In One Minute at Bamfurlong - 28th February 2022
The first train to appear was DRS 88007 “Electra” heading north from behind me on the afternoon container train service from Daventry to Mossend. Secondly and finally heading south we have West Coast Railways class 57 pairing 57314 and 57316 working an empty coaching stock move from the Carnforth base down to the southern base at Southall Railway Centre. The class 57s engines always sound pretty good here.
This shot was quite good in my opinion and fortunate as the class 88 was running around 4 early and the 57s also around 8 minutes early.
