Retrieving the last DRS 57 and a Suitcase: Rail Adventure 43s at Carlisle 12 & 13 August 26

On Wednesday evening, 12th August 2026, I was on the station to see what Rail Adventure would be sending to Carlisle - and of course wondering why that train was coming. We also had an Eclipse and hoped for some interesting light effects. Sadly I wasn't impressed. Having been told that Rail Adventure were to take what I think is the last of DRS's Class 57s from Kingmoor after their recent disposal, I was back on the Thursday morning to see 57309 taken south.
Other trains besides with a 68 double heading with an 88 on Thursday's Tesco train, 90s and 66s on the Wednesday evening intermodals and a shorter than usual Log train.

The times shown on clips are for guidance only and shouldn't be taken as definitive.
