James Bond Special! Class 91 Number 91107 'Skyfall 007' Powering Out of Leeds Headed for Kings Cross

British Rail Class 91 Bo-Bo high-speed electric locomotive 91107 'Skyfall 007' was constructed by British Rail Engineering Limited (BREL) at Crewe Works in July 1988 (originally numbered 91007) as part of the flagship InterCity 225 fleet for the East Coast Main Line. Overhead electrified at 25 kV AC, the locomotive utilizes four body-mounted traction motors delivering a total continuous output of 6,480 brake horsepower (4,830 kW) with a starting tractive effort of 45,000 lbf (200 kN) and a maximum operational speed of 125 mph (200 km/h). Weighing 81.5 tonnes, the Class 91 features an asymmetric steel body styling with a streamlined driving cab at one end and a flat cab at the rear, designed specifically for high-speed push-pull operations alongside Mark 4 passenger coaches and a Driving Van Trailer (DVT). Locomotive 91107 bears the name Skyfall 007 and is presented in a striking retro InterCity livery.
