86401 & 47815 at Bamfurlong - 26th April 2024
The locomotives were working and early running empty stock movement from Carnforth to Rugby in preparation for a railtour the following day which will be "Settle & Carlisle steam special" with 34067 doing Carnforth - Carlisle to Preston legs.
Typically early running trains get shoved along the slows to wait unnecessarily and here was another case this could of easily ran via the fasts.
Quite rare seeing AC electric loco on the slows.
