Railways around Birmingham Part 3 of 4 Tyseley Station (Birmingham) 28th July 2026
Part 3 of 4
Tyseley Station (Birmingham)
28th July 2026
Upon a short visit concentrating on the area around the West Midlands City of Birmingham. After visiting Moor Street Station, featured in Part 2, A short hop on the train bound for Dorridge, I alighted at Tyseley Station, famous for the heritage and busy railway depot adjacent. The station was opened in 1906 under the Great Western Railway and situated on the London Paddington to Birkenhead Route. Trains here are mainly bound for destinations such as Kidderminster, Worcester, and Stourbridge, also in the opposite direction Whitlocks End, Dorridge and Stratford Upon Avon. Operated under West Midlands Trains. In this visit I witnessed a few Chiltern Class 68's on services to and from London Marylebone/Birmingham Snow Hill and several Freights on container traffic, making a varied location for traction, and with all the DMU's as well.
I do hope you enjoy this visit and video and if so, please subscribe/like to the channel and a very big Thank You for watching.
