In this video, we see two Class 52 Westerns in action — D1015 Western Champion and D1062 Western Courier — working services from Kidderminster Town with trains destined for Bridgnorth.
We also catch Class 50 50049 departing with another service, adding another iconic BR diesel to the morning’s action.
There was also some interesting depot activity, as Class 09 09107 was used to drag Class 46 46045 back into the diesel depot after the Class 46 was swapped out in favour of 50049.
With two Westerns, a Class 50, Class 46 and Class 09 all featuring, it was certainly a great morning for diesel enthusiasts at the SVR!
