Two Railtours !! - Saturday 2nd August 2025

Channel: Andrew Hadley
Player
Description
Firstly, and down 'The Dark Side' through Cradley Heath, so quite exciting, I was up to see 47712 'Lady Diana Spencer' - running as 47711 'Greyfriars Bobby' one side and (I understand) 47709 'The Lord Provost' the other...working Saphos Trains 'The English Riviera Express' as the 1Z82 Wolverhampton to Kingswear as far as Taunton where 5029 'Nunney Castle' took over...

After a quick breakfast, I was back down to Cradley to catch the train to Small Heath to see UK Railtours 'The Greatest Gathering Special Train' with 69013 in it's Andy's Man Club livery along with 57310 'UK Railtours'. Running as 1Z30 from London Paddington to Derby for the Greatest Gathering event this weekend.

Also filmed were 68010 'The Oxford Flyer' on a Stourbridge Junction to London Marylebone service through Cradley Heath, and 66711 'Sense' in the yard at Small Heath

Thanks for watching...
