Diesel Legend! 50050 Thrashes Bamfurlong on The Thistle & Dragon Railtour - 22nd August 2026
The immense locomotive was working the The Thistle & Dragon railtour from Kirkcaldy to Llandudno on behalf of SRPS Railtours.
Network 153383 was crossing heading from the wcml down to Wigan Wallgate meaning the tour stopped in Wigan North Western causing a few minutes delay. Bonus we get this powering loud shot of the train doing what it does best.
Class 40 locomotive 40013 would return the train back to Scotland later in the day.
