To cut a long story short:
The day was entered with no plan at all, and timings that were confirmed extremely late.
This simply led to the pattern continuing, where one things leads to another and almost takes over the entire day.

I asked to catch up with them, as we'd previously cancelled due to sickness and nothing else was arranged. A randomised location list was spawned, to use none of them. A quiet day was required, but this wasn't exactly that. A supposed sit and talk, sent us on a mammoth walk to the airport, through various fields and a literal vegetable patch for no real reason.
