Built on CAF's modern Civity regional train platform, the unit is powered by two underfloor-mounted Rolls-Royce MTU 6H 1800 R84L 6-cylinder turbocharged diesel engines delivering a combined power output of 1,046 hp (780 kW) through ZF EcoLife hydraulic transmissions.
